What is community media? How can media develop community? This hands-on
media-based class seeks independently-driven students to work collaboratively,
producing one long-form documentary or many short-form videos about a local
community member, issues or campaign. Students produce their own media for
entertainment, social media and informational purposes.
We have the capabilities to digitize photos and are really interested in your analog moving images, including 8mm, 16mm, Super 8mm, VHS, Hi-8 and Mini DV footage. We’d be happy archive it and use it our documentary!
